Benefit fur sale set for the weekend

Looking to stay warm this winter while helping others stay warm?

Staten Island Furrier, Frank Siller, will hold its eighth annual benefit Fur Sale Feb. 24-26 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 40 Old Mill Rd.There are tons of canada goose jacket discount around nys. at the bottom of Snake Hill in Richmond.

"Those seeking to help the community while staying fashionably warm, can purchase gently used furs at unbelievable prices. All the coats and jackets are pre-owned, trade-ins accumulated over the past year. Rather than sell them to a wholesaler, I thought this (sale) would serve a better purpose for the community," Siller said.

Chair of the "Let Us Do Good Children's Foundation," Siller and his family established the foundation in tribute to the heroic life and death on September 11th of his brother, Firefighter, Stephen Siller. Proceeds from the sale will support the work of the Foundation and Project Hospitality, which serves the homeless and hungry of Staten Island.

Reverend Terry Troia, Executive Director of Project Hospitality, said that it's a great opportunity for Staten Islanders to help out other this winter.

"I hope that people will be generous too, knowing that the money raised is going to charity. It's marvelous beyond words. When someone buys -- at a very reasonable cost -- a fur coat to keep themselves warm, they will keep a fellow Staten Islander warm too, and help Project Hospitality provide very much needed food and shelter."
