Handsome Matthew McConaughey is officially off the market to his female fans. On Christmas Day, McConaughey proposed to model Camila Alves, his long term girlfriend and mother of their two children.
Digital Spy reports McConaughey, 42, confirmed he proposed to his beautiful Brazilian lover. The couple started dating in 2006. The lovely duo have two children together, 3-year-old Levi and one-year-old Vida.
In March, McConaughey said Alves was his "perfect" women. "I found the woman I wanna do it with – the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together."
McConaughey joyfully announced the news to his friends on his Who Say blog and tweeted on Twitter, "Just asked Camilla to marry me, Merry Christmas."
The WhoSay blog included a photo of the happy couple kissing by the Christmas tree. At this time, no official marriage date has been announced.
