I then add Swarovski crystals, chiffon, buttons or studs. I have recently added feathers to some of my new collections to add up the glamorous look," said Al-Maadeed.
The designer finds her inspiration in everything around her, claiming that every day is a new discovery that would give her new ideas for designs and approaches. "The best aspect of working in fashion is exploring and discovering materials, when you try to come up with your own idea and make a trend out of it," she said. "I enjoy everything about designing; I think it's a fun process, especially using edgy materials and colors in my designs."
